Cell Tower Industry Leader. As a Tower Genius partner, Steve is a top landlord advocate and wireless infrastructure consultant in the United States. His expertise in cell tower leasing and landlord matters has been featured in the in the New York Times, in Realtor Magazine, and many other publications solidifying his industry authority. Steve has spent the majority of his professional career since 2000 in the wireless industry, where he started as a contracted Real Estate Site Acquisitions Manager for Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, tasked with leasing, zoning and developing cell sites in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Mr. Kazella has spent the last 17 years in the wireless lease consulting industry advising Wall Street investment banks, utility companies, municipalities, thousands of property owners and their attorneys involved with cell tower lease negotiations and other transactional matters as a Partner at Tower Genius, LLC. Steve and his Partner at Tower Genius are directly responsible for or have overseen negotiations for cellular site leases that represent $11.5 Billion ($11,500,000,000) in leased value during their 50+ year combined wireless careers. Steve with his business Partner directly supported FEMA and Verizon Wireless in directing, organizing and implementing emergency recovery and critical disaster response efforts at the WTC site immediately following the 9/11 attack on New York City, when Steve and his business partner provided hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of essential services for free, namely the deployment of 36 portable cellular sites (C.O.W.S. = cell on wheels) by September 14th, 2001 - and coordinated temporary power and the telco microwave backhaul needed to run all existing temporary cell sites in Downtown Manhattan, providing FEMA and the all NYC assets, Federal Agencies and Emergency Responders an essential communication system during this unprecedented time in American history.
